Alex Hornibrook in Transfer Portal

Alex Hornibrook is an average QB, but he did go 26-6 as Wisconsin’s starter over the last three seasons (split time with Bart Houston as a RS-Fr). He battled through multiple concussions last season and there were rumors that he got in a fight with David Edwards (RT), who declared for the Draft in December.
Imagine there will be some QB-starved teams inquiring. Thoughts of who may be interested?
This news has the Graham Mertz hype-train moving at a wild pace.

You very rarely hear about QBs and their Oline ever having issues.
Explains the concussions.

He had his moments (i.e. 2018 Orange Bowl), but was a physically-limited QB with no pocket awareness and little arm strength. He’s the textbook definition of an average QB.

There was a game at Sparty that seemed like a breakout where he showed a lot of moxie -- three years ago? He hit some clutch throws against Michigan two years ago, too. But, he really regressed last season.

Whether it was the concussions or competition (Jack Coan and Graham Mertz), most Wisconsin fans assumed Alex Hornibrook would retire or transfer before next season. Honestly, I figured he'd stick through the spring, but no part of me felt that he would be on this roster come fall.
