I would pitch McCullers over Kazmir, though.
McCullers looked good in Sunday's game. He dropped that toss from Carter, but he's not a first baseman. He had a BS balk called against him which scored a run, but as far as pitching goes, he looked really good. Ready for the playoffs.
Kazmir hasn't pitched since the Seattle debacle in which Carter and Co. bailed him out of 6-3 deficit to win 7-6 on Sept 30th. Today is Oct 9th.

I think Kazmir will have a pretty short leash today. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fiers up at the first sign of trouble

Last night took a lot of balls. Went into a hyped crowd that did not get deflated like the yankees fans did. Today we need to continue the outstanding defense and lock up the win so its hyped as hell in the juice box Sunday.

Kazmir needs rest. That was his problem.
