Maybe for the SEC. The rest of the NCAA had benefited from the defection of talent and coaches from the SEC.

USC was doing the same thing with Pete Carroll. They had an absurd talent advantage and got every benefit of the doubt on top of that. Its basically what college football has always been.

It is a sport where they have biased committees and poll voters with agendas picking playoff participants and champions. What did you really expect from the sport?

What game did you watch?

Our very young team did not quit. And they beat up that Bama team.

As does Ohio State. They just gave up 50+ to Iowa.

Not a single team called for holding last season against the most dominant DL Bama's ever had.

When you could make a case against Bama being in the title game it was when computer decided things.

There is literally no case for Bama not being any of the CFB playoffs that have happened so far, so I'm not sure what point you are making.

I would say Miami was the same thing in the 80's - but damn...people wanted to watch Miami even though they were winning all the time...and CFB was just becoming about them.

But they had cache and swagger.

I think people also don't like Alabama is because they are boring and led by a boring man.

Miami had Jimmy Johnson and Michael Irvin and tons of characters. Bama players are like robots. I hever see any celebration after a big play.

That's what's taken the fun out; the best team these past 10 years is no fun to watch and the players have no personalities.

This ain't Miami 1980's - this ain't Bush - Leinart flair and celebs...this is "the process."

The process isn't good entertainment.

Correct.

This was done by design starting in 2011.

Poor ESPN has managed to unintentionally screw another product that it purchased (SEC Football).

This will be a problem for Bama moving forward when they get to the playoff every year without being challenged in conference.

Will definitely make the final four more interesting...

The point was this isn’t new. Teams dominate college football. It happens.

Bama is the reason I prefer the NFL over CFB. I mean, what's the point of caring about LSU's season when you know it's over after the Bama game? It's become stale.

This is true. The 2000s USC teams were fun. The Miami teams were fun. This Bama dynasty is so long, and the teams are so dreadfully boring to watch, that maybe it does have a negative impact. Def in the SEC it has. For sure the 2011 fiasco was so bad for the game it sparked the playoff system.
