I’d like to think Miller wasn’t down with doing a murder and was under the impression that this was a serious self defense situation
the classic self-defense situation where you have time to text and wait for your boy to come with your gun.

The daughter of the victim probably wouldn’t observe the actions Miller undertook that night and come away with the conclusion that he acted like a reasonable and honorable person. Just food for thought.

this is indeed obvious to anyone with common sense, but man you are forgetting a major pertinent fact. Brandon Miller is good at basketball and the Tide need him for a Final 4 run.
fricking insane how the NCAA basically forced LSU to dismantle its basketball program over a phone call while the Alabama program is a glorified street gang

“The police knew about Sandusky and didn’t move forward. What else was Paterno and Penn St supposed to do? They aren’t the law. And Paterno was never charged or even hinted at a crime by the DA, so how can anyone say he isn’t a good person?”

We’ll find out exactly what Miller’s involvement was. I predict that information will come out that clears things up for him and proves y’all wrong that Miller was in on a murder and blocked the jeep from leaving so they could be murdered.

I think we will have to wait until more facts come out, but it's all been pretty damning for Miller.
What we know:
1. Miller brought the murder weapon to the scene of the crime.
2. Miller's car was at the scene of the crime and was damaged by gunfire.
That doesn't really give us anything to absolve Miller from any culpability. If there is exonerating evidence, it has not be released.
I don't understand why the question of where he was cannot be answered.
Did he park the car and leave? Did he stay? Does his dash cam operate when the car is parked or when the engine is off? Was he in the car when the shooting happened? Was he out of the car?
If his car was there and he was somewhere else, where was he? When did he come back to get his car? When did he notice that his car had bullet holes?
There's a lot more to the story that isn't public yet. It may be good or bad for Miller, but it's hard to logically conclude that Miller had no involvement.

2. Miller's car was at the scene of the crime and was damaged by return gunfire.

What did I say was wrong? What crime did Paterno commit?

That's what's being reported. Are you saying that the reporting is inaccurate or that the police are lying?
quote:
Moments later, Culpepper testified, Davis approached the victims’ car and said, “I told you I was going to get you,’' and then began firing through the driver’s side window of the Jeep.
He fired at least eight shots, some of them while running in an arc from the driver’s side around the back of the vehicle.
It was then, the detective said, that Miller’s Charger was struck by two bullets.
ETA: I edited my original post to delete "return". Regardless, the car was hit by gunfire, per reports.

I’m saying that you’re the one who is inaccurate or lying.
Davis shot 8 times while running around the jeep and hit Miller’s car, not the return fire.
The return fire hit Davis.

What did I say was wrong? What crime did Paterno commit?
Did Joe know kids were getting raped in his facility? Did he tell police officers or anyone above him? What was his legal duty?
I wouldn’t be comfortable if my coach was harboring a child rapist. He’d have to go.

Paterno never committed a crime or was ever even questioned by the DA for a crime
So why are you being inconsistent?

Paterno was told by the QB coach he saw something. Then he reported it to his supervisors who then buried it. Sandusky was not part of Paterno's staff at the time as he "resigned" in 2000 or so. The NCAA really messed this up bad, as they had no right going after Penn St like they did. It was a legal matter that was settled in courts.

Yes. He knew what was going on and didn’t do anything about it

The DA should have done a much better job in this case.
