Who is quicker?Who’s faster? Who has higher vertical. Who has better 3 point shot. Who has better ball handling? Who has stronger will to win? Who never lost on the stage of finals?

You can skew your argument based on your view.

Would you rather have Staubach or Romo in their primes. Is the argument basically.

Well LeBron traded to get most of those players whereas the Bulls drafted all but Rodman and Harper sooooo.... even with trading to help LeBron he still can’t win titles.

Wade, Ray Allen, Bosh, Love, and Kyrie will be on that list when all is said and done. The whole “Lebron had no help” narrative is dumb.

Jordan had Pippen. Rodman was a shell of himself during the second three-peat.

All the "will to win" in the world isn't beating a team like GSW. MJ wasn't God.

BS. It was Jordan and Pippen + a bunch of role players. The Bulls weren’t a super team. They were a well coached group of guys led by the best competitor American sports has ever seen.

When those role players are guys like Dennis Rodman it makes them a super team

From wikipedia:

quote:

Dennis Rodman – led the league in rebounds per game an NBA record 7 consecutive seasons, including a high of 18.7 rpg in the 1991-92 season. Rodman holds the top seven rebound rate seasons since the 1970-71 season. Rodman has the highest career rebounding average of any player since the NBA began recording offensive and defensive rebounds in 1973–74.

quote:

5× NBA champion (1989–1990, 1996–1998)
2× NBA All-Star (1990, 1992)
2× All-NBA Third Team (1992, 1995)
2× NBA Defensive Player of the Year (1990, 1991)
7× NBA All-Defensive First Team (1989–1993, 1995, 1996)
NBA All-Defensive Second Team (1994)
7× NBA rebounding champion (1992–1998)

No one questions Jordan and Pippen being all stars. Add in a "role player" with the above credentials and you start seriously entering into the super team discussion.

Doesn’t the current definition of a super team call for 3 or more all-NBA type players?

Find 3 of those caliber of players on any of the Bulls championship teams.

Well I just am going to prove you wrong here
98 Jazz beat Chicago twice had home court advantage and same record. Jazz had 2 US Olympic players like the Bulls
93 Suns had more wins the MVP and home court advantage. They split the regular season series. The Suns had 3 US National team players on it.

Dennis Rodman was wayyyy past his prime when he went to the Bulls. Like Karl Malone when he went to the Lakers. It’s not the same as a 20-something year old Lebron teaming up with Wade and Bosh or Kyrie and Love.

Rodman won a first team all defense and was rebounding champ with the bulls

I wouldn’t call that waaaaaaaaaay past his prime. It seems as if you have a narrative

Right. So far past his prime that he lead the league in rebounding every year he was there.

Rodman wouldn’t have been considered a top-20 player during that time period.

Whiteside led the league in rebounds last year and Andre Drummond this year. If you add either one of those to the Cavs are they a super team? No.

Weaker than the Spurs and Warriors, though.

Hell, the Spurs teams that started that run of dominance evolved specifically to be better than those Jazz teams Jordan faced.

So to spin this the Spurs were weak because for 4 championships they played the Knicks the Nets Cavs and Pistons?

You are squirming today

Yes he would have. He was 1st team all defense and led the nba in rebounds in 1996

He was your Draymond Green of 1996. Hell, draymond wasn’t even 1st team all defense this year........

Draymond is too good to be compared to Rodman in Chicago. Maybe as a Piston that’s a fantastic comparison
