I think he has a case. More sacks and INTs, and he also has 4 returns for TDs

Aeneas Williams vs John Lynch HOF credentials
I am a fan of John Lynch due to his time playing for the Denver Broncos, and I feel like Aeneas Williams deserved to get in over him.

His day will come, but this just was not the right time.

Aeneas Williams was elite. He deserved the nod.

i'm a Buccs fan, and Lynch lived off his reputation for years

Aneas didn't talk or brutha it up, he went out and shut down the teams best WR. Guy gets punished for playing in zona and stl.

First Williams is a corner and Lynch is a strong safety. Second, Williams was easily one of the top corners of his generation. The only one of his contemporaries whom I would immediately take over him is Deion Sanders.

This is correct. Aeneas Williams was a better player than John Lynch. Woodson and Sanders are the only two of his time who were arguably better. Superb player who spent much of his career playing for a horrid franchise.

Lynch benefitted from an all-time great pass-rush, superb LBs, and some phenomenal corners that allowed him to patrol the middle and wreck shite.

Williams had a much tougher job and performed brilliantly IMO.

Yep.

Sapp begot Brooks who made Lynch.

Both were great players, if I had two chose between the two, I feel Williams was better.

He was 1 of the 4 CBs chosen to the all decade team(90s), the other 3 were Sanders, Woodson, & Green.

That's a pretty big mark in Aenaes William's favor.

Actually he wasn't. Brian Dawkins and Ed Reed were the starters at safety with Troy Polamalu and Darren Sharper as the backups.

I understand you are a 20 year old fricking redneck retard who just start following football 2 years ago when his bestie became a G.A. at Bama, but you are really really talking out of your arse.

You mean to tell me that a cover corner wasn't as feared as a strong safety? GTFO.

The NFL just couldn't handle the Bucs hiring the best TE coaching hire in NFL history AND getting 2 guys in the hall all in the same year, I guess.

I've forgotten more about football than you have likely seen man, you have no idea how old I am that is clear and the redneck post is hilarious as well, again don't have a clue.

You telling me watching a film on Lynch didn't make the opponents scared? There were WRs who wouldn't go across the middle because of Lynch, not the same with Williams

Please post less we will all appreciate it

He did, but he may not even be top 5 of his era at Safety. Definitely behind Reed, Dawkins, Troy P, Sharper, and maybe Wilson and R Harrison

Chuck Cecil made people scared, so I guess he should go in the HOF ahead of Champ Bailey according to Mr. Bucc "My sister got Leonard Fournette to commit to Bama when she was working at Disneyland."

king rantard of the sec rant recruiting subsite now he is branching out to the msb and coaching changes boards with his retarded shite. His "Tampa Bay just re-wrote history with this TE coaching hire" thread was the stuff that legends are made of.
