is this directed at me specifically?

Absolutely not.

AP is entitled to his opinion just as much as the left side. Good for him! #Merica

Define normal. If occurring in nature, then homosexual is natural bc obviously it's occurring everywhere.

It's not natural. That's the thing. It's not normal. Gays can not reproduce. They have a huge increase risk for Aids, Cancer, STDs, mental disease. Nothing about it is natural.

SO populations that experience a high risk of aids, cancer ,STDs or mental disease aren't natural? Guess all those 3rd world countries, populations near power plants, or crazy people are just artificially synthesized since they're not natural.

Despite what pop culture would have you believe, gays make up about 2-3% of the population in the US.

equal treatment under the law

Love/hate on this issue. Not the gay issue, the equal treatment. It seems ideal, but as a guy who doesn't do any kind of aide, I disagree with "equal" punishments.

Well other than it not being a real fricking marriage I don't see anything wrong with it.

Oh, and the lovefest espin had for the gay soccer player was thoroughly nauseating.

I'm equal opportunity. I think it's disgusting when they PIIHB if they are gay or straight.

Blak Christian male raised in a lower income family with a father in prison who thinks making millions in the NFL is akin to slavery

And he's against gay marriage? Shocking.

So if you disagree w somebody you're revoking their freedom of speech? the real pussification is ppl wanting to say something without any consequences. YOu can say whatever you want to say, just don't be a pussy when the opposition comes back. I guess ppl just want to say whatever they want with no consequences or rebuttal.

I wanted to come back and clarify some things that I didn't get a chance to yesterday because I was grilling and involved with family all day.

First, I support gay marriage, and I support AP being able to say what he said, even though I disagree with him (if he is against gay marriage, which was the implication, but was not said explicitly).

quote:

so is the belief that being against gay marriage is wrong

all opinions/beliefs are discriminatory by their very nature

This is what really interests me. I guess the second sentence is true, unless it were possible for an opinion/belief to be universally agreed upon. I don't know if that's possible or not.

What you are essentially saying is that opinions/beliefs discriminate against those with differing opinions/beliefs.

My point was that, using this premise, being anti-gay marriage is objectively more discriminatory in this debate. That's why I linked the Gallup article.

quote:

y'all are having the debate. i'm just stating that it's discriminatory on both sides, and using "bad" words like "bias" or "discriminatory" do nothing to actually have a debate.

You said opinions/beliefs by their very nature are "discriminatory." You again stated it in the above sentence, then said it's not an appropriate word in the debate.
