Statement from Tom Brady's agent, Don Yee:

“The discipline is ridiculous and has no legitimate basis. In my opinion, this outcome was pre-determined; there was no fairness in the Wells investigation whatsoever. There is no evidence that Tom directed footballs be set at pressures below the allowable limits. In fact, the evidence shows Tom clearly emphasized that footballs be set at pressures within the rules. Tom also cooperated with the investigation and answered every question presented to him. The Wells Report presents significant evidence, however, that the NFL lacks standards or protocols with respect to its handling of footballs prior to games; this is not the fault of Tom or the Patriots. The report also presents significant evidence the NFL participated with the Colts in some type of pre-AFC Championship Game planning regarding the footballs. This fact may raise serious questions about the integrity of the games we view on Sundays. We will appeal, and if the hearing officer is completely independent and neutral, I am very confident the Wells Report will be exposed as an incredibly frail exercise in fact-finding and logic. The NFL has a well-documented history of making poor disciplinary decisions that often are overturned when truly independent and neutral judges or arbitrators preside, and a former federal judge has found the commissioner has abused his discretion in the past, so this outcome does not surprise me. Sadly, today’s decision diminishes the NFL as it tells its fans, players and coaches that the games on the field don’t count as much as the games played on Park Avenue.”

Holy shite man, you should have given that evidence to the NFL. Then we wouldn't have to look at this weak arse report, or have this stupid conversation about nothing.

I can't wait until Brady wins the appeal and starts the first game next year.

There will be lots of this around here.

Look, if Brady fights this I think he will look even worse. Most people think it is obvious he cheated, but they dknt think it is a big deal. If he really starts trying to bang the "I didnt do it at all" drum I think he will really piss off the neutral people as that is insulting to our intelligence

I think he cares. He won't admit it but he wants to be liked and viewed as the ultimate good guy/ best ever. Whether you or other fans want to admit it, that has taken a huge hit

I'm sorry but I can't label Tom Brady the GOAT like other fans. After Deflategate and Spygate, this organization and it's players have been exposed for two scandals involving cheating. There's no telling what else is going on within those team meetings. What a disgrace.

Yeah I rather Brady not be suspended, purely for selfish reasons.

NEW YORK -- The Denver Broncos have been fined $950,000 and

Wait, weren't those the years you guys won the SB?

Oh I forgot, only teams caught cheating within the last 10 years are disgraces :/

That created no competitive advantage on the field and the Denver Broncos organization was cooperative with the entire process. Also, the person responsible was discontinued from the organization.

No competitive advantage for using a salary cap different from everyone else?

You can't be serious right? You think deflating a football is more of an advantage than manipulating the salary cap?

You might be the GOAT Patriots hater
