But how you bitch about past punishments then cheer this one. It seems they have way less evidence in this case than the bounty gate
What evidence? They claimed they had 15000 pages of it only to refuse to provide a single legitimate article when non-biased parties requested them. It was a attempt to save face while going through the concussion lawsuits.

It was 50,000 pages and they were only able to provide less than 200 pages of mostly power point slides. Maybe 20 pages could have possibly can relevant. A lot had to do with game plans and pregame meals

Most people I know where like Holy shite they have that much evidence, and felt deceived when it turned out to be so little actual evidence.

I love how the saints fans are clamoring for the pats to get fricked by Goodell with inferential evidence, when they were fricked by inferential (now debunked) evidence. It's so funny how simple minded saints fans are about this shite.

Saints fans don't have dick to do with this and most agree that it's bullshite but your boy didn't put a leash on the monster when he had multiple opportunities and now it's biting the hand that feeds it. Please forgive the multiple mixed metaphors.
Sounds more of a case of Pats fans being pissed that they're not getting the preferential treatment that they feel Kraft is entitled to because he and Roger are supposed to be pals.
Kraft sure as hell didn't mind jawing about the integrity of the game or whatnot when the Saints got slammed. It looks like the concept of capricious penalties is suddenly a little less cute in Beantown and surrounding areas,

I can't speak for other fans but the inconsistencies in the rulings seems to be the issue here. The actual "crime" of under inflated footballs is a misdemeanor. It didn't create much of competitive advantage if any at all but Brady willingly broke league rules.
If Brady takes his charge, I'm not sure he even gets suspended. He probably gets a nice fine but no suspension. His suspension is more about not cooperating with the investigation & covering up. The NFL is no different from the NCAA here. In order to self police, it takes cooperation from the parties being investigated to find out the truth. There is no power of subpoena or warrants issued. Whenever that mission for finding the truth is met with opposition, it makes uncovering the truth that much more difficult. In return it causes these organization to have make lessons out of those who don't cooperate as in this case.
The most frustrating part is the hypocrisy Goodell has shown since the Bountygate BS especially his ignorance is no excuse line he hit Sean Payton with. Goodell had no desire in wanting to hear that quote when dealing with the Ray Rice situation. Why wasn't that reasoning used here with Belichick? Not only that but the Patriots did every they could to not incriminate themselves. The Saints cooperated fully. Goodell even said if the Saints did just that, they could possibly get one of their 2nd rounders back. Full cooperation yet no 2nd round pick returned.

It's funny how you have zero idea what's going on in this thread.

You think Brady needed those balls that way to win?

Sounds like Roger over and over again. Of course he lied about it, but who really cares.
And a big part of his suspension is due to not turning his cell phone over or cooperating.
The NFLPA is going to hand Roger his arse again. He's using vague terms in the CBA that have already failed him before when the penalty for ball tampering is clearly stated and addressed in the CBA.
It is a $25k fine. This is him responding to the media (again) while ignoring players from around the league (again) who have admitted to ball tampering.
He's also deflecting blame off himself for not having the proper controls in place from preventing this from happening. How are balls left unattended before the game?

Which is such a joke
Would anyone here turn their cell phone over to their boss for an employee evaluation or during some kind of punishment?
"Hey sal, those TPS reports were pretty shitty this week. I'm gonna need to see your cell phone to review what you've been doing all week. I mean, legally you don't have to, but we will be suspending you for a month if you don't give it to us."

I would advise you to go listen to Mike Florio on Ross Tucker's podcast.

I've been reading his articles on PFT and he's been swaying to whichever side of the argument gets more attention
He'll write an article calling Brady a POS one day, and then the next call the league over zealous and the whole investigation a sham

They used to, but Brady and the Cheatriots petitioned the league to change the rule so he could use his own balls.
