When you attend a sporting event, is there a particular team you seem to see way more than others by random chance?

For me, it's the Los Angeles Angels. I'm not an Angels fan at all but half the time I go to the ballpark....it always seems like it's against the damned Angels.

Go to a game in Texas.......they're playing the Angels. Go to Philly....it's the Angels. Kansas City? Yep, the Angels. Cleveland? Angels again.

Hoping to hit a game in Houston when I'm there in mid-August. Who's in town? The damned Angels.

Multiple times to different baseball cities - not particularly for baseball - but about 95% of the time the Marlins are in town for a series, and it's right at the start of a series too.

I have been to a little over half the MLB ballparks, but a lot of them were to see the Astros in that particular town.

When I just randomly go to a game in a town I happen to be in, I have not had anything close to the OP with one team. It has been a mixed bag...which makes the OP's run with the Angels more remarkable

Closest I got is I have been to Wrigley 3 times and caught the Giants in 2 of those games.

mine strangely enough is the Yankees.

I've only been to 10 MLB games in my life.

1 was in Yankee stadium so I'll remove that one.

I saw the Yankees play in Toronto, Seattle, Baltimore, and Los Angeles without consulting the schedules prior to my trips.

The Washington Capitals. Only been to two NHL games my whole life. Both times, just by chance… it was a Caps game.

I’ve never actually seen a NHL team that I care about play in person.

I have actually never seen the Yankees in all of my trips. I actively avoid them when planning trips to Houston because the tickets are so much more expensive, just because it is the Yankees. I guess I have been lucky they weren't in town in the random places I have been to

Yes! Being from Louisiana, I was drawn to the nearest team when I was little; so I followed the Astros. I went to around 10-12 games there and all of them were against the Cubs and Cardinals. I hate both teams to this day even though we switched to the AL.
