I didn’t like wearing ties on school field trips when we never actually had to in school, but I wasn’t making millions and being on tv either

How is it stupid to wear a suit. The main objective in coaching at lower levels is to teach life lessons. Your teaching young people how to be mature, accountable and professional. Sad commentary

How often do you wear a suit boomer?

Suits are uncomfortable and hot and just unnecessary, especially on a basketball court.

All the foot figs on TD will immediately kill themselves (in a video game of course).

I’m surprised that a conference mandates coaching outfits. If a coach wants to wear a suit Ike Mike Nolan or dress like Bill Bellichick or Bill Snyder, it should be their own prerogative.

NFL coaches cannot wear suits, they have to wear brand items.

The only time I put on a suit is for funerals and weddings. And I do my best to skip both.

I’ve always wondered why basketball coaches don’t wear a warmup top like their players, and a team polo underneath. That’s what I’d wear if I was a coach.

If a coach wears a polo on a sideline, it will be offered for sale to the public for $54.99 and it will sell out in many cases. More money for the schools. Somehow, this will tie back to revenue shortfalls after COVID.

That’ll save my guy the trouble of taking his jacket off before tip.

Polos are just amateurish on college basketball coaches, and make them look like small-time, which reflect poorly on their schools and conferences.

I don’t think most conferences have one. Bob Huggins wears a batting practice pullover on the sidelines
