Number 42 today.
Posted on 7/30/22 at 4:34 pm to BeachDude022
Judge is now batting .300 and has improved his batting average by 26 points in 12 games (!). Judge has 11 homers in 12 games, and is 22-45 in those games, with 57 total bases (!). History is being made. Only he and Mark McGwire have hit 42 HRs with 90+ RBI within his first 100 games. Barry Bonds only had 137 RBI when he hit the 73, which means the rest of his team was terrible at getting on base. He's is likely to homer tomorrow, but Greinke is going, so it *might* be a little tougher.

Judge continues to shine, 24-50 with 63 total bases in his last 13 games. 12 homeruns. He's just better than everyone else. It's time to start the countdown. Crazy? Likely, but at this rate, you never know......

Will Judge get the Bonds treatment (intentional walks)?

Believe it or not, they are trying to be careful now the playoff teams are going to be soon putting up the 4 fingers.
But in the meantime, this thing is so fun to watch. Judge is seeing everything at the plate. Fastball or offspeed his stroke looks effortless. Sometimes you wonder did he get that one and then you are just in amazement at the distance he gets on some of these launches.

#44 for Judge - this one was predictable as I correctly predicted that he would hit one, as Seattle's pitching was trash tonight. Nonetheless, Seattle was fortunate that he didn't get three tonight. He needs 29 to tie Barry Bonds, and 30 to pass him. I look for more easy (for Judge, that is) pitches to hit, as we will see more and more 5+ ERA pitchers going as teams begin to tank. He might have 48 by the end of the week, and 60 by the end of August. He might OPS 1.2 or better. 31 for his last 71, with 13 homers in his last 19 games. Astros pitched him well, and still gave up two homers and a walk-off single in seven games.
Also, this is a contract year; there is no way he misses much time. Funny how that works? Trout got paid and might be out, but Judge will breeze past him, as Trout might be done (his MVP years are definitely finished).

For the SEASON series:
Royals in Six Games: 11 total Runs
Aaron Judge in Four Games: 13 RBI and six homers
Shitty indeed
Man, you are something!

Too bad the Yankees couldn't win one game against the Cardinals in a three-game series in St. Louis.

Can't blame Judge. He went 6-13 with 4 RBI and had an OBP of .500. He also was 10 feet shy of a Grand Slam. It's not his fault that the Yankee pitching has tanked. Despite Judge's hot streak (has anyone ever been hotter for this long?), the Yankees are only 9-10 in those games. And three of those wins came against your trashy Royals.

Yankees could do it this year if they stay healthy. Better defense, best bullpen and better contact hitters are going to make them a real contender. Their schedule seems to be light on the front end, though.
Aaron Boone is an idiot. They won’t win shite with him as manager.

Judge gets # 45 and could have 49 by week’s end. He is 33-76 in 21 games but the Yankees have gone 9-12 in those games. What he is doing is as impressive, if not more impressive than what Bonds did, when you consider the pitching talent and the cheating. We are nearing the need for an at-bat by at-bat update. He’s might get a 250 wRc. He’s better than Trout has ever been and makes Riley, Goldschmidt, Ohtani, etc look average. Those players are great but Judge is in a class all by himself.....even if his team isn’t so good (at least right now). 14-21 in last 35, woof.

Judge keeping company with Bonds, Sosa and McGuire. Really makes you stop and think.

I saw on Twitter that someone who knows Carlos Beltrans nieces friend said he uses a random bat boys pee hair and blood samples to avoid getting popped for steroids

Aaron Judge is putting on a Masterclass on how to dominate WITHOUT cheating, something Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, and Tatis Jr could not do. You love to see the Padres just implode. Aaron Judge is going to finish with the GOAT season if he keeps this up. Bonds cheated and pitching was trash back then. Judge might have had 80-85 homers if he cheated/had easy pitching. Opponents can't handle him, so they resort to hitting him. Sad. That said, the Yankees are still playing like garbage but I expect them to turn it around. I still hate how they traded Montgomery. Dumb.

Judge is a beast. Yankees gonna have to pay a bajilioon to resign him.
Posted on 8/22/22 at 11:16 pm to littleavery1948
Judge might have had a mini-slump, but look for more homers to fly. He destroyed Scherzer and is about to show the world why he’s the best in the world. Judge needs 15 to have the true record, and 26 to have the cheaters record. He has a 13 homer in lead right; this run is far more impressive than Bonds’ 73 when you consider what his peers are doing and the legitimacy of his homers.
