Thought this was interesting.

Matt Light: I never believed in anything Aaron Hernandez stood for
quote:
Former New England Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light was one of the most well-liked players in the NFL during his 11-year career. He may have gotten some grief for dancing shirtless with Rob Gronkowski after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl in 2012, but Light has never been one to bash another player or make controversial remarks.
On Wednesday, Tom Archdeacon of the Dayton Daily News wrote that he has known Light for a very long time and has never heard him “speak ill” of another player. When speaking to him on Tuesday — a day before Aaron Hernandez was even arrested — Archdeacon asked Light about his former teammate.
But Tuesday when I asked the former New England Patriot star tackle about his old teammate – tight end Aaron Hernandez – his easy smile quickly vanished and he went silent for several seconds as he decided what, if anything, he would say.
‘I never talk about other guys, but I will say I have never embraced – never believed in – anything Aaron Hernandez stood for,’ Light finally said.
The recently-retired Light – who won three Super Bowl rings and went to four Pro Bowls in his 11 year career – insinuated that Hernandez, with whom he played alongside for two years, has always had his own agenda – and it wasn’t a good one.”
Again, Light made his comments before Hernandez was arrested and charged with murder. The players currently on the Patriots roster will be under strict orders to not speak to the media about Hernandez, but I’m sure many of them would agree with Light. Even Hernandez’s former coaches at Florida said he spent more time with his friends from home than his teammates, and there have always been questions about who he associates with.

Without him getting into specifics, it seems like a case of hindsight being 20/20.
The article made a point of saying Light said this the day before Hernandez was even arrested but by that point the writing was on the wall so it's not like he was going out on a limb.
At least with the Welker incident we have an actual anecdote, albeit one that actually makes people side with the alleged triple murderer over the veteran douche.

In fairness, it's pretty much proven that Hernandez's preferred method of conflict resolution doesn't involve crying in a corner.

It's crazy to me how he got away with one almost a year ago. Hell, I can't sleep at night if I lie to someone close to me.
But play football after killing 2 people???
Serious question: Why would he plea not guilty?

Say he didn't kill the guy (I know he did, just for shits etc)
How much time would he have just on the gun charges? I assume a long time since it's up north.

He's a TPOS, BUT REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They didn't find that car today, they probably stashed it waiting for AH, to kill again. The police wanted him to sacrifice Odin Lloyd! Those cops should be charged with accessory to murder, if they haven't already killed any innocent people while doing their "duty
:kige:

ESPN just had video of the police escorts and the vehicle Hernandez was being driven in. Tons of people behind the camera were chanting "innocent" and started cheering when he drove by. Judging by the audio, sounds like it was 30+ people, many women.

And he'll impregnate the female guards.
Women LOVE serial killers. Seriously. Google it; there's tons of studies on the phenomenon.
