Huh? Isaac will be hitting Shreveport about kickoff if the most recent projections are right.

Decrepit campus? I can throw in shite like that with no real facts. Campus looks fine to me, there's actually a ton of construction going on right now too.

Even if it was falling apart, a broken down campus in Lafayette >>>>>>>>>> anything in Ruston.

I stop through there routinely..... They need to keep St Mary St (for obvious reasons) & hit DELETE on everything else.

The freshman QB thing is a decent argument, but the relative talent of the "A&M squad" as a whole is far beyond last year's Cougar High team.

Last year's Houston team beat PSU by the same amount that Bama did. Last year's UofH team would straight up f***ing murder this year's A&M team.

1. Ike is not a hurricane, it's a storm.
2. If it becomes a hurricane tonight it will certainly not be one by the time it's as far north as Alexandria. It will become what we call 'rain.'
3. The projection is Monroe, not Shreveport and the local weather prediction for Monroe is some rain and 20 mph winds.

On Thursday night everyone will be asking the question "Hmmm, now what was it we were supposed to be afraid of again???"

Saturday, everyone in Shreveport will be wondering how to spend their day. Most will decide to watch paint dry.

Hell no. Sat. will be my favorite day. Starbucks in the morning, weight lifting and grocery shopping. Then home to watch college FB all day and all night while cooking Jambalaya.
Have a nice day, Mr. ULL fan.

The current projections have TS force winds as a 20-30% possibility for Shreveport as seen here:

There is not one projection. Here is an overlay of the most recent projections.

This may very well be correct, but do not discount the distinct possibility of 1-3" of rain and 30+mph winds.

I couldn't care less either way. I would like to go to the game, but I'm not sure Tech and A&M can afford to risk the 20-30% chance that the conditions will be almost unplayable.

Tech played Southern Miss at SM during TS Lee last year. The game is not going to be delayed. Bring your rain jacket ;-)

I discount the possibility. But if you prefer to be afraid, hey, it's a free country.

PLENTY AVAILABLE: Fans haven't turned out in droves to scoop up tickets for that Thursday night Louisiana Tech-Texas A&M game. As of 12 days before the game, only 23,000 tickets had been purchased for a matchup of two bowl teams from last year. Official listings provided by the Bulldogs said that approximately 17,500 were Tech fans and about 5,500 were Aggies, but it is believed that many A&M supporters bought tickets through Tech outlets rather than out of A&M's ticket allotment to get better seats

Y'all have a good product that's been consistent the past few years. What gives?
