Typical take from one of the fat geeks that works at Barstool and hasn’t ever played competitive sports. Golf is an inherently quiet game with no crowd noise where you can stand 20 feet from an athlete and yell loudly enough to make them jump and actually effect their game. They wouldn’t allow someone to stand 10 feet behind a baseball pitcher and yell during their delivery and that’s a comparable situation.
Compare that to football where all you can hear is your own breathing and your pads rattling around while you’re 50 yards from the nearest fan and an individual yell is drowned out. It’s a special case compared to other sports and definitely shouldn’t be allowed
