Someone made a point last night. I don’t know if the whistle was blown but if it hadn’t a 15 yard penalty could have been thrown against CU for throwing their helmets after the blocked kick. Tech could have been awarded 15 yards and an additional untimed down.

I don't think that qualifies as an untimed down. Think it is a dead ball foul but not untimed down after. That's what I read earlier today and it made sense.

Didn’t something like that happen last year and the other team got swept be extra play and won? Maybe it was a 4th down/turnover on downs situation
