Seven Michigan State football players are being charged with crimes stemming from the assault on two Wolverines players in Michigan Stadium's tunnel after the two teams played on Oct. 29, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday.

Defensive back Khary Crump is being charged with felonious assault, after video was released showing Crump striking Michigan defensive back Gemon Green with his helmet. Defensive end Jacoby Windmon was also shown in the video and is charged with one count of assault and battery.

Itayvion Brown, Angelo Grose, Justin White, Brandon Wright and Zion Young are all being charged with aggravated assault. Video showed a mass of players surrounding Michigan defensive back Ja'Den McBurrows, hitting and kicking him while he was on the ground.

This is wild. After everything we've seen over the years, this is the one that gets charged?

This though lawyers would get involved and they would just settle on a smaller buyout to end it

He'll get all his money from them even faster if they try that.

The wildest brawl I remember in recent years is the FIU and Miami brawl, complete with head stomping and body slams

When have we seen 7 players from one team kicking the shite out off one guy from the opposing team, in the tunnel, after the game? Must have missed that one.

Myles garret swinging a helmet
Aaron Donald swinging a helmet
Juwon Howard throwing punches in handshake line
Draymond green sucker punch at practice

He’s right. Just to name a few. Yes I agree this one was also not called for, but just odd how this is the one that gets charges

People complain that no one ever gets charged.

Some players get charged.

People complain that charges finally happened.
