There have been many many many articles written on this. It’s not my opinion alone in the dark. They’ve made some poor decisions.

But they have the greatest HC in NFL history and the greatest QB in Nfl history.

How much film do we even have on Jimmy G? Do you think he’s ever worked out for Lynch or Shanahan. Even with his contract expiring, Pats aren’t going to give up a QB they think is great with Brady likely done in 2 years.

Which is what makes it so perplexing that they are going completely against MO here.

I like this for San Fran. They give up a second to get a gb instead of having to take one with the top 5 pick. You know essentially the same about both, but you only used a second. I equate it to somehow taking one of the top QBs in this draft in the second round.

He won’t be much longer. It’s not like anyone can argue otherwise. It’s happened 100% of the time.

If he were any good they wouldn't have benched him for Blaine Gabbert.

Name even 5 teams that have drafted better. Every team in the league misses exponentially more than they hit on picks. Of course they aren't going to draft a Consistent Miller or Andrew Luck type player, they pick in the 30s every year.

Good trade for 49ers. Avoid paying cousins big money

I'm not sure if it's strictly who they draft. And it's not that they're bad at it. Just not AS incredibly great at it as some think.

backup?

My question, too. Brissett was their original 3rd stringer and I haven't found a roster yet that lists the guy behing JG.

Brady may be Superman, and 2nd round picks are sweet, but backup QBs worth a damn are rarer than ever.
