Team Canada was the runaway favorite to win,, Team USA had other plans
Keith Tkachuck whose sons Matthew and Brady dropped gloves in the opening minutes of USA v Canada just last game was given 5 minutes and suspended
The bad blood or the tension is not about Trump talking trash
is not all y'all getting hyped up making fun of annexing Canada
it goes way back this is hockeys Hatfields and McCoy's ..

I'm glad everyone is enjoying this World Cup on ice but if you understand the history if you understand 96 if you understand this is the first time in a long time these national teams have played each other and this kind of tournament

Earlier in my life, I worked for a company out of Chicago and attended a half dozen games at the Stadium in the mid 90's. I then got into the NHL as more than a casual fan during the Blackhawks run ~ten years ago. If they had a tv contract with ESPN instead of NBC Sports back then, the sport would be light years ahead of where they are now nationally. There were so many great story lines. It sucks, but if you arent on ESPN/Disney, your relevance suffers.
Hopefully, 4 Nations propels the league into more of a national game. NHL playoff hockey is the best postseason in all of sports, and its not really close.

The NHL really wants the Houston market, but Tilman is the only cat that they can deal with, since he has control over the arena.
Atlanta is almost assured a franchise. Houston can be 34, but they need to close ASAP
