Any NFL team that turns out to have a gay player will be absolutely petrified of releasing them (for legitimate football reasons ie salary, performance) for fear of a PR nightmare

I'm not going through all the guesses in this thread, but I think they won't be obvious "well known" players.
If it was someone really popular, they would be recognizable and keeping this under wraps would ahve been difficult. But say you're just a good pro with no real media attention (think Richard Sherman CB for Seahawks when no one recognized him), then you can go to gay clubs,etc with little to no attention. Plus, a superstar might have more to lose coming out, while a lower guy actually might be able to gain something from this. That's my theory.

All I hope is none of them are on Green Bay. I'd hate to have to hope for one of our players to get a career ending injury.
