3rd Central Lafourche Head Football Coach Resigns Since November

They are now looking for their FOURTH Head Coach in a single offseason. Not sure if I’ve ever heard of that at a 5A football program.

Worst big football school in Terrebonne/Lafourche. Their best teams can’t come within 2 touchdowns of a playoff win. Even when they have Maason Smith.
That program is 10 miles from being competitive again. Especially with Destrehan, Hahnville and ESJ.

Coach resigns after the season.
Drey Trosclair hired then resigns and takes Plaquemine job a week later.
Moore hired and resigns after 4 months on the job.
Now looking for 4th coach since November.

I know. They were the best 4A/5A team in that area and they couldn’t compete with average Ascension Parish schools in the playoffs?

I heard only 29 players came out for spring ball and 3 coaches, at this point I don’t even see how we can field a team for this season.
The problem is the AD, nobody wants to coach for him and coach with him (he’s the DC). Until he’s gone CL will never win in football, and at this point most other sports are just as bad as football or worse.

Must make the head FB coach the AD. Gives half the teacher load up and extra pay

Yep, only way cl will get a quality coach is to offer a coach competitive pay, and the only way to do that in Lafourche is to make him ad also. Then allow him to bring in his own coaching staff. Otherwise it will be the same shite and CL will look to break the states losing streak.
