Bleacher Report @BleacherReport
The Titans had three players and five personnel test positive for COVID-19, per @TomPelissero and @MikeGarafolo.

Titans and Vikings will “suspend in person club activities” after playing on Sunday.

So their games are canceled this weekend, right? It says they're not allowed to meet in person until Saturday.

The Titans haven’t gone through the 2nd round of testing to rule out false positives and the Vikings haven’t even had a positive test. The NFL is being “cautious” by shutting down the Vikings without a positive test.

This is stupid.

There were no positive tests with the @Vikings when notified this morning but the NFL is taking the safe approach via protocols with facility shutdown, source added.

So the Titans will probably forfeit this weekend against the Steelers. There's no other way around it. Everyone knew this might happen and it did.

That’s horseshite that they’d have to forfeit. Nfl knew shite was going to happen and they should have allowed an extra week between week 17 and wild card round.

Would be awesome if someone has to forfeit a playoff game because of this nonsense.

ARe you really that stupid. Even if you believe that covid is just the flu, if you don't shut down and half the team gets the flu then you are going to be out more than a week.

If you don't shut them down, 8 becomes 30 which becomes 50 and so on really quick. Its not about life and death as much as making sure enough players are healthy enough to play.

This I agree with. At the very least call it a draw so it neither helps or hurts either team.

Well covid isn’t the flu because these players would be sick if they had the flu. Covid in your 70s is not like an athlete in their 20s but the flu will put them down.

Did I miss where teams shutdown their facilities due to the flu?

that would help, but not as much as you think it would.
What happens when it happens to another one of their opponents down the road?

The NFL is doing its best here, their hands are tied by local and state regulations, which for the most part follow federal guidelines for this shite.

Forfeit would be dumb, IMO. Better off just having those teams play 15 games

3 cases?

OH MY GOD!

Cases = DEATH.

This is why we must freak out and panic. Because this virus is a DEATH SENTENCE. CASE = DEATH.

Even if you don't die you have EVERLASTING PERMANENT HEALTH DAMAGE.

This is why the NFL or any sport should not have played. We should have all mandatorily quarantined and locked down until we defeated this virus.

Blood is on the hands of the NFL.
