Mike McCarthy and Bill Belichick should never be mentioned in the same breath.

I think that was part of the point.

I didn’t say Mike McCarthy. I said Bill Belichick.

If Aaron Rodgers can't get along with Mike McCarthy, he certainly won't get along with Bill Belichick. Their personalities would clash and either Belichick would be forced to go or Rodgers would be traded to some other team.

Please give me this long list of players.

I'm afraid a petition doesn't exist, but I do know Danny Amendola left the Patriots, in part, because he said Belichick was an a-hole and difficult to play for. Other players have echoed this sentiment in the past.

You can't expect any rational debate from this guy. He's the sad fanboy who once spammed this board with multiple threads about how great his hero Tom Brady is every day for around a week. I believe he had 5-6 Brady hero worship threads on the first page alone at one point. It's odd behavior from a grown man.

1 player. Cool. So much for “so many”...

I remember reading this about Randy Moss. They would be winning and there would be no more conflict than the typical HC/QB relationship.

By contrast the year Manning was out the Colts went 2-14
that was the suck for Luck year, they weren't trying to win.

That’s what ultimately happened however that doesn’t mean that was the objective of the franchise all along. I love when fans create a narrative in hindsight and treat it as fact

As late as May of 2011 there were reports he’d be ready for the preseason :

I don't know why you're laughing.

The Suck for Luck campaign was real and it did happen. I guess Luck must be the greatest QB of all-time otherwise because he took a hapless 2-14 Colts team from 2011 and turned them into an 11-5 playoff team the following year.

If Brady plays in 2021 (or maybe playoffs 2020 season) you can add another PotUS to have come and gone.

They were undefeated in 2007 then were 11-5 with Cassel that’s a big drop off genius

If your timeline begins in 2002. Only 2 presidents have come and gone.

I’m just pointing out how extremely rare it is to those saying they didn’t make the playoffs

Cassel, Garoppolo

Garoppolo is a starting NFL QB

Cassel has had a better career than most QBs

It’s not like they were starting bums in his place.
