3 Percent Ratings Drop: Goodbye Politards

How's that clown who said this might be the lowest-rated Super Bowl in history going to explain that. The NFL survived the "boycott."

Super Bowl LII pulled a 47.4 overnight rating. That’s a 3% drop from the 2017’s Super Bowl 51, which pulled a 48.8 in early numbers. That 3% decline from 2017 isn’t a big slide at all, but it represents an eight-year low in household viewership for the Super Bowl. It is, however, a 9% increase over the last Eagles-Pats Super Bowl in 2005.

The most pathetic part about it is folks will still say "I won't watch another second of the NFL until the players stop kneeling!" as if they hadn't stopped back in like October

But they were celebrating that poll on Friday that predicted a 17 percent drop.

Funny that OP just glossed over that
These rating threads are dumb on both sides BTW.

He moved the goalposts on that declaration minutes after he made it

I didn't 'boycott' the Super Bowl.
I just didn't watch it.
I just didn't watch it.

You want to get rid of political posters on the MSB by starting a thread about political posters?
Bold strategy.

This. Honestly I can't remember the last time we watched a Super Bowl. The National Anthem protests merely fortified my existing perception of the NFL.

That wasn't there when I responded, genius. Great thread though.

So this year's Super Bowl will be roughly the 8th most watched TV event in US history?
