That’s it. Duke turned out to have a pretty good year but when you’re a soft young team this is a rude awakening. Filipowski needs to come back for more seasoning. This proctor kid looks pretty savvy on the other hand .

No true scorer. Can't handle the ball pressure. Way too many turnovers. Couldn't manage the physicality.

Can’t manage physicality said it all. Of course mark Mitchell didn’t play. That could have changed things as he’s dukes best defender and a really athletic dude. But in general, the Acc is soft finesse basketball. Whenever duke (or unc, Virginia whoever ) plays a really physical team (typically in the sec ) it’s ugly because there’s nothing like that in the Acc.

For the most part yea. But dukes reclassified freshman Proctor single handedly kept them in the game, and their fifth year seniors Ryan young and Jacob Grandison were actual aids
But to your point Filipowski had an absolutely terrible game and had clearly never seen that level of physicality.
