Show me where there is a single confederate flag on WM's campus. There isn't and has not been. Hell the administration literally cut Flags off of trucks a couple years ago and told everyone it is not allowed on campus.

I'm calm. 
Just a conversation we've had many times. Shows actually tried to change WM's mascot to the Running Rebels like UNLV. He eradicated all confederate symbols from the school.

Long time West Monroe family, I concur that the administration abolished Rebel flags long ago as any part of the school image. The occasional fan still pulls one out and yes, the band does play Dixie despite the PC nazis. For the gent that never hopes to step foot on campus, it's not because of anything we've done or represent. Your choice, please come watch a game and visit the campus. I'll even buy the ticket. Fans are polite and mature, and while it's a public school, it's does pretty well across the board.

That was 11 years ago. So unless you consider the football field not on campus, they were allowed under 20 years ago
eta: I had a blast. Enjoyed the pagentry and have no issued with the flag itself either

I was referencing them being on the school or it's property, meaning there were literally paintings and flags on the walls and signs. Those were all removed long ago. The parade has ended and flags aren't permitted in the stadium. Really is completely different now under Ainesworth.
