Ive wondered since that shot...what was it like on the other holes when that ball dropped. There are hole in one cheers...and Tiger roars...but a Tiger hole in one had to have players on the..7 th. Going "what was that?"

Can someone explain why the crowd went nuts as soon as he hit the ball? I watch golf at times but I don't follow it that much.

I’ve heard people say before that the two loudest cheers at a PGA event were when Jack Nicklaus made the birdie putt on the 17th hole at the 1986 Masters and the linked hole in one by Tiger at the 16th hole at the Waste Management (or whatever it was named then).

It’s the 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale, which is well known as the rowdiest hole in golf.

This is what that hole looks like today

Fine, call him a sportsman like the British do. Greatest sportsman of all-time.

Best time to watch the 16th is in the afternoon. The alcohol is flowing and the fans are getting rowdy. They will boo you if you miss a putt.. lol

They boo you if your shot lands farther than like 20’ from the hole

The loudest golf shot roar i have ever hear and it was loud...Tigers "better than most" putt. But as with the 16 th at PHX...the way the 17th at TPC has been built up...if he made that putt now, it would be significantly louder
