I collect mostly baseball autographs & tend to not flip them.
Recently found the right Mantle after looking for ~10 years.

I emailed pictures of the autograph, hologram and certificate of authentication directly to Upper Deck. They responded that it’s legitimate.

Other than that, really can only study the history of his autograph vs usual fakes.

Just wanted to post an update to my thread from a few months ago where I asked for advice on selling the childhood card collection that my brother and I put together as kids. Link to that thread:

Selling Baseball Collection

I had been following Chasing Cardboard, so I took a chance and submitted our collection to them. For those of you who don’t know, Chasing Cardboard goes around the country buying sports card collections and filming the episodes. High quality production and they’re just like American Pickers but with cards. They look for the stories as much as the cards.

Well, they Immediately got in touch with us, set up a date and came out to film us earlier this month. The episode went live this morning and here’s the link.
