re: Heading to Brazil in April

Hit up Boa Praca in Leblon. Great spot for drinks, music and people watching.

I stayed at the Ritz in Leblon (boutique hotel, not the chain) which was next door to bar I mention above. We kicked off every afternoon there with a Beck’s beer then walked to restaurants each evening.

For restaurant suggestion, highly recommend Rainha. After dinner, there’s a bar across the street and it gets very lively. Plenty of “sights” to take in.
How was your trip? Did you make it to pyramids?

I was just in Cairo last week for 48 hours. Unfortunately by the time my work meetings were over, we couldn’t make it to the Pyramids before dark. Instead, we pivoted and went to the Khan El Khalili market in downtown Cairo / Maadi district (it’s closer to the airport than the Pyramids. Pretty crazy experience (in a positive way).

Eating dinner at one of the hotels on the Nile River was a beautiful setting.

Edit: I’m a little slow. Just noticed the dates on your posts…
Wife and I are taking our 3 young children to Punta Mita in 2 weeks. Our first time to Mexico.

Really looking forward to it.

Second San Diego.

Spent a week there and had plenty of new things to do each day. Highly recommend for family trip.
Agreed.
Website routinely gives me grief as well when signing in. Very frustrating.

I went to Rio in October for first time for work. I stayed in Leblon area and was absolutely blown away by the experience. Great restaurants, bars, shops, etc and was very safe. We had a driver and after our 2nd night, we told him we didn’t need him on future nights as we walked everywhere. Not to say crime won’t happen, but be smart as to not wear flashy jewelry or walk around with your brand new iPhone in hand.

On the weekend, we went to Christ the Redeemer in the early AM to beat the crowds. By the time we left, crowd was starting to get really large (and it was getting hot!), so highly recommend going as early as possible.

As far as visiting the beach, my coworkers warned us not to take wallets, phones nor hotel towels as the petty crime gangs will ransack the beach occasionally. With that said, we walked to/from Leblon to Copocabana having drinks along the way and I never once fell threatened.

In summary, Rio blew me away and I can’t wait to visit again.
Way more than that.

Retail is around ~$18 for a single official MLB ball.
We’ll still have it. Sleepy Joe will just make us buy it from overseas and cost us a fricking loan to fill up our tanks.
“but they don't need what I provide.”

Think this also answers your question.
Our work load is way down except covid patients”

I think this answers your question.
I’m sure they are still getting paid bc administrative duties don’t stop. The OP specifically said his skills can’t help the COVID situation.
Thanks, Nole.

I actually 100% agree with you, but the rest of the family is worried about getting stuck there if a person is linked to have gone to Disney.

We’re awaiting response from MD Anderson on what they think about our family member going. I certainly hope the rest of our party trusts those doctors advice more so than the Internet. We’ll see!
We’re supposed to leave Saturday for Disney. And we have someone in our party with Leukemia and weak immune system. Looks like we may postpone trip. This sucks...

re: Tom Brady Divorce?

Yes, she is. That’s why the OP is suggesting Brady is looking (in other words:needing) for a big pay day if he’s losing the breadwinner.

I think I’m leaning towards Parker as well. Thanks!!
Same here. I’ve got RoJo but just don’t trust him with this being a must win week heading into playoffs.

I’d roll Goff.

I imagine GB def will be playing with a chip after that beatdown last week.

Ridley or D. Parker? PPR

Currently in 6th place, last playoff spot. Have to win to move on.

Who you rolling with? (My other 2 WR I will start are Hopkins & Allen)
