So I saw some stuff said by pods today (haven’t listened to much yet)
Denny said Brad is going to either Trackhouse or Childress. I could see Dillon willing to get out and bring Brad into the fold. I could also see Rick Hendrick pay spire to let McDowell go and put zilisch in the 71 next year. And Corey day gets that car for 2028.
DBC said they’re hearing rumors that a Supercars driver is in play for the 6 car. Ford Supercars drivers of note: Cam Waters, Brodie Kostecki, Matt Payne, Broc Feeney, Will Brown.
Waters is the most likely, I think. Already has run for Roush.
Kostecki actually ran arca when it was K&N.
Payne is a rising superstar who is rumored to be going to Chevy in 2028. Maybe ford sways him with this.
Feeney has wanted to run a nascar race. Never had the chance.
Brown has run twice. Although I don’t see him willing to learn ovals.

Every week of the NOAPS chase has been outstanding! I can’t wait for Saturday night.
On a side note, I finished watching reservoir dogs and Mr Orange has to be related to Carson Hocevar.

Bianchi reporting Dodge to Cup in 2027 is near the finish line. ECR providing engines that are supposedly slightly modified, not exact same engine as Chevy. All 3 manufacturers signed off the plan. Kinda tells me Chevy doesn't really care what ECR and RCR does.
Seems like the writing is on the wall for Dodge to simply buy ECR down the road. Makes too much sense at this point. Also makes those Brad to RCR or Trackhouse rumors make a lot of sense.
As it stands TRD builds engines for 10 teams, Roush Yates also 10, Hendrick 9, and ECR 8. It'll be interesting to see what Trackhouse does. Try to switch to Hendrick? Or maybe they think they can become the top Dodge team?

Speedvision TV schedule October 13-17, 1999. Man, those were great days!

Makes sense. Been seeing a lot of Dodge rumors all year. And they got a lot of press on that TV series to win the truck ride for a year (Mini won). They also have a racey real stock car you can buy. Most police chases are Chargers lol

It would behoove both Childress and Trackhouse to explore Dodge. Hell throw hyak in there too. Chevy will always be Hendricks playpen. Spire is fine being an extension of Hendrick.
So it all makes perfect sense. Although the day RC steps back and Austin Dillon is running things, I’d expect the first move to be Dodge.

I think Hyak and Haas are happy where they are with Hendrick. I would think NASCAR's long term goal is to have 3 legitimate teams with each manufacturer. RWR, Hyak, and Haas will eventually cash out.
I still think one day JRM somehow ends up in cup. Maybe like a Wood Brothers type arrangement, but with Hendrick or Spire.

Haas and Rick ware should be. They all just switched. Hyak is so far down on the bow tie ladder, I don’t understand why they’d stay

Saw this, it was posted 29 Sep
RUMOR: Hearing Kasey Kahne could join Brad Keselowski in buying into Kaulig Racing for 2027 as BK looks for his next move after RFK. Two former Dodge guys + Matt Kaulig’s Ram program? Timing is interesting. Take it with a grain of salt — but the garage is talking.

I’m not sure I buy that. That reads like some AI shite. I can’t see Kahne investing his money into that.

KK was a Dodge driver. He’s getting back into trucks. However he is driving a Chevy. So that part of rumor was likely false. It was posted before KK announced truck deal. But the Brad part is believable.

Yeah I remember his evernham days. Kasey just does not strike me as the nascar owner type. I’m not sure the level of wealth Kahne has would be enough for him to consider investing.
Brad and Kasey as a duo? Oil and water types.

Why? Kasey has owned race teams for years. KKR. He also knows all the ins and outs of sport. He as a minority owner doesn’t need to do much other than invest.
