Eh. I’m disappointed. Too many tracks have two dates. North Wilkesboro back to an all star event. I feel like it could have been better. Hopefully 2028 is.

Means elimination races is my guess:
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series director Seth Kramlich acknowledged the logistical challenges of the series racing at Bowman Gray in 2027, namely that they won't be able to field a full field of 36 trucks.
NASCAR is still working through race formats and exactly how that'll look.

Then why would they even consider racing at a place that can't even hold a full field?

I don’t see a problem. They did that at eldora. I wouldn’t mind seeing cup do something similar at a grassroots venue.

They really need to spread that out some. 20/50 states represented.
Alaska and Hawaii are obvious. But too much of the country is empty.

And keep on mind that chart shows all 3 series/states. It seems to me the series has declined since they went everywhere vice their roots. Its logical they should gain viewers by going elsewhere. But some of those states are not loyal fans and only watch when in area.
Of course one could argue the car is a crappy racer and that is why declining viewers but that's just one chapter in a long book why ratings have declined over the years.

Pit crew swaps
Bob Pockrass
@bobpockrass
SVG over-the-wall crew change ... Trackhouse has swapped the over-the-wall crew except of the fueler of Shane van Gisbergen and AJ Allmendinger (Kaulig gets pit crew from Trackhouse). So SVG now pretty much has Allmendinger's crew.
With Bowman jackman and rear changer going to Byron to fill roles of those suspended for wheel coming off, Bowman gets jackman and rear changer of crew leased to McDowell; McDowell gets rear changer from Hocevar with McDowell jackman a reserve and Hocevar rear changer a reserve.

I bet they get low ratings in US. Same reason I don’t want to go to other countries. I don’t know the racers or series history and have no inclination to watch any of this.
And it works the same if Nascar went overseas with US series. People might show up and watch for novelty. But viewers would be down.

NASCAR is just a niche sport. But with that being said, there are fans of nascar everywhere. I do think they need to do a better job of spreading the races throughout the country. Even if it’s just a single cup race.
And I’m not arguing with you on racing outside of the US. You and I just don’t and won’t agree.
With the military base idea, please consider Keesler. Biloxi isn’t even 3 hours from me. Lol.

Has Louisiana ever had a Nascar race?
Would have to be on an airport or something. Most roads are too bad to race on.
Maybe Alexandria?

Chennault Airport in Lake Charles would be neat. The airport is for large military planes and private planes. Chennault has many large hangers they could race through, a couple hairpin turns, and ample space for a long straightaway.
In fact, the blue angels are putting on a show here this weekend.

I can get to 4 tracks within a days drive.

I’ve been touting the lakefront airport in New Orleans as a great spot.
There was supposed to be a speedway near kentwood. But you know Louisiana politics gonna do Louisiana politics things.
I’ve tried to build a street circuit in New Orleans near the dome. Doesn’t work.
I think the military base idea opens up a lot of possibilities. There are plenty in untapped markets. Keesler, Tyndall, etc.
Look at what Coronado did for Southern California. You can race in places like Oklahoma, Colorado, Washington.
You could even do Elmendorf outside of anchorage, or Pearl Harbor (would be incredible, but far from ideal).
