The French fans are the worst. The crowds at Roland Garros have stunk for the last few years I can recall watching.

I don’t watch much WTA, but holy smokes Potapova is hot.

If you like the classic Russian James Bond girl look….she is it.

At least there's nobody there to see it.

This has been the best Major for the men in a long time. Tons of intrigue, very close, physical matches, the winner completely up in the air.

Finally, it feels like men's tennis has some juice again. And I'm not talking about Sinner's doping.

Tiafoe SHOULD win from here. What a great comeback in that third set!

He gutted out that set. I thought he was dead with Faria up a break, serving at 4-3.

She’s amazing. To hit the ball with as much force as she does at 18 and to be so little is quite remarkable.

Osakas power is incredible. She doesn’t move super great but when she’s on, still so hard to beat.

I've followed Iva Jovic since seeing her play at the USTA Tennis Center here in Orlando. She also trains a lot here. Iva Jovic's weakness is her serve. You saw it with Naomi Osaka. Osaka was able to pounce on it and immediately put Jovic on the defensive.

Felt really bad for Jovic though. That was the match of the tournament so far on the women's side. That was a match where you hate to see either one of them lose.

Honestly, I'll take flack for this, but I'm glad Coco Gauff is out. Everyone in the U.S., especially with the USTA, act like she's already won 10 majors. She's won 2 majors and has never been past the 4th Round at Wimbledon. And she played really bad at times today against Potapova and was outplayed most of the match. If Potapova hadn't melted down for a couple games in the first, she wins in straight sets today relatively easily.

Gauff is a good player, no doubt about that. I just hate how she's forced on everyone. They are so desperately trying to make her the Serena Williams for this generation, without letting it play out naturally. And the USTA desperately doesn't want a white girl to be the face of U.S. women's tennis. You've seen that with how they ignore up and coming white players like Jovic and even Anisimova, meanwhile they relentlessly pushed players like Sloane Stephens (1 major in 15 years) and Madison Keys (also 1 major in 15 years).

You watch, in the next few years Iva Jovic is going to win multiple majors. Everything is there, so she gets more consistent and works on having a better serve, she'll be very difficult to beat. And yet I'll bet she won't get 20% of the coverage here in the States that Coco Gauff gets. And just because of not being a minority and to a lesser extent her name not "sounding" American.

Amanda was given a giant contract by Nike and got the IMG machine behind her when she was 17. It’s her own fault she didn’t pan out as a marketable star.

Amanda's a good player. I don't know if she'll ever break through but I could still see her winning 1 - 2 majors in her career. Nothing earth shattering. But again, Coco Gauff only has 2 majors, and they treat her like she has 10 majors. She gets more coverage than Azarenka, at least in the U.S.

I agree that while Amanda is a good player, she's not that marketable. Even if she were to win a couple majors, I don't know if she has that "it" factor to be marketable. It's sad that even plays into it but it does.

But I do think Jovic will win multiple majors and at different majors as well. And I feel like she does have that "it" factor to be a marketable star. She hits the ball incredibly hard and well, she mentally tough and doesn't ever give up, she's young, she's cute and even has the immigration angle with her parents. Essentially the American dream personified. If that happens, it will be interesting to see what kind of coverage she gets here in the U.S. Personally, I think she could win 5 or 6 majors and she would still take a back seat to Gauff.

But again, I'm probably biased. I have respect for the USTA in terms of their coaches. I don't have much respect for the USTA as a whole though, especially their marketing and player development departments. They are definitely an example of "pay to play".

She's cute with huge cans and has made a couple of major finals. So, I think she's marketable. She's just kind of shy or something. But, not weird like Osaka, more endearing.

Swiatek gone. I thought that might happen. Kostyuk is pretty good and won Madrid a few weeks ago.

Carreño Busta up a set and break on Jodar.

Would be amazing if PBC somehow won this tournament.
