Isaac it depends on when the injury actually happened, could have happened 3 weeks ago already.

Great point

Just because we found out about it today, doesn’t mean they didn’t have this pn in place for a week or two

How dumb do you have to be to be boxing as an F1 driver? Your hands are your money makers, similar to surgeons or dentists. Doubt many of them box with frequency.

So for predictions this week, we just ignoring the team assigned to the driver?

Yes, ignore the team color and logo, it's all about the driver name.

That being said, I will update my code to show Lawson with Red Bull and Yuki with VCARB for this race and any future race if Hadjar is out for a while.

OK, I updated the code so for the Dutch GP Lawson's tile now has the Red Bull color and logo, and Tsunoda now has the VCARB color and logo.

Time to update your prediction lists! You only have until the end of today!

Remember to drag Hadjar's tile down to the Reserve Drivers list, and drag Tsunoda's tile up into the Top 22 drivers list.

Max has announced that he re-signed with Redbull over the break…

I am shocked to say the least. I don’t see him winning another championship with them with where Merc, Ferrari, and McLaren are now.

Apparently he boxes regularly as part of his fitness plan. He broke it on a punching bag

It's more about the money than the car.

Depends on the assurances/promises that were made.

Could very well be a deal that allows him to void it if RB keeps turning out shitboxes.

Karun and others coming out questioning WTF.... "Car is 4th on the grid, he's 6th in drivers in the car... can't believe he signed until 2030, I would have thought 2028, but I'm guessing they gave him assurances"

Huh Max re-signed with RB? Anyone know the contract amount per year?

I believe he was only at about 70 million previously, making him an OT poor. The new one better be at >100m.

Money was no issue with any team

He knows Red Bull, he has talked a out loyalty and family

And he can pretty much do whatever he wants at Red Bull

He has always been able to retire and that might be his option versus learning a new team.

He has a car that can still win races right now if things work out. Getting the formula right will always be a bit of a crap shoot these days.

Assurances in the form of a wheelbarrow full of money and an out clause. As stoic as Max comes across, he's still human and can be bought. He could retire from f1 at 32 and be close to being a billionaire.

Nothing out regarding the amount... He was already at what, 70m a year?

Yeah, nothing out. I'm just making assumptions.

He was already around 70 million euros a year. Rumor was that Redbull was willing to pay him a lot to get him to drop his exit clauses.

Let's go back to just pure ICE.

Maybe this is a means to an end for him.... He's expressed over and over again he loves GT racing, going as far as to establish his own team.

Maybe the guaranteed money continues to seed that and he just goes through the motions with RB until he steps out to do that full time

He announced he will still be doing his GT3 thing and will try to run some 24 hour races if the schedule allows. Not sure every team could offer him that.

Been a lot of talk about the next regulation lately. Even Toto said he hates the new start procedure and as a “purist” would like to see some changes. Prolly be V8s
