They all sound like trash. Turbos and low rpms kill the noise.

The ratings must not be all they claimed to be in Miami.

The Chase Sapphire offer and now this. Trying to draw people in.

They should have made Monaco or Miami free.

You realize that the chase deal is chase advertising via f1?

Apple has viewers the expect. They aren't chasing viewrship numbers the way broadcast has to

Was this one of the pre-scheduled free to watch races?

Not sure. I don't remember all of them or if they had an official list.

Seems they just said different races will be available through outlets. Apple seems to be testing different engagements. Via theaters, cross-platform, partnerships. No telling what else we see.

They said that several races would be free before the season started

The Canadian GP was the other free in so far

I have no idea what the ratings are, but I have fell in love with the Sky sports broadcast. I had to watch the F1 the past several years

This weekends practice and pre race with James Hinchcliff and Calem Nicholas was really good on F1 TV.

Canada wasn't free, it was simulcast on Netflix

A couple of seasons of toiling around in the back of the pack has Carlos Sainz ready to reinvent formula 1.

Yup, only when you are in the back do you think about the injustice of it all!

From a driver perspective it's not a bad idea for a constructor-focused series like F1. But the teams would hate it not only because they would lose the advantage of signing one of the top drivers on the grid, but because they would be forced to make their cars more generic to accommodate all of the drivers, instead of tailoring their cars to maximize the potential for a single #1 driver.

Wasn't aware. Never popped up on my Saphire offers.

Glad it was mentioned

Just make it a spec series with those suggestions. It takes half a year for a driver to get up to speed with a team.

Even with a spec series all the cars aren’t the same

We saw that up close at Barber during inspection. We talked to the inspectors and he showed the differences in the cars and how much better the top teams cars were than the mid budget teams

It was a very interesting experience

Miami could have been okay, but I’m not sure I’d make the most boring race of the year the free one.
