Ill have to go back and find it. Was a few months ago, maybe it was speculation and not an actual announcement. Canada had been known for a while so I assumed the others were.

You would think primetime US races would be likely. Canada, Mexico, US, Brazil....

I see it on Netflix website.

Yep. You would have thought Miami would have been one of them too

Yeah, don't remember... Just remember it being discussed here.

You'd think, but I would have assumed they would have made Miami free on Apple TV in order to try to draw in people and then had offered some sort of promo for first time subs based off that.

Baseline. Don't give away the US races for "free" if you can get them to buy a subscription.

Well we shouldn't see anything free based off the SVP's comments in Miami about viewership being "way up" over 2025 numbers for the first 3 races.

What in the actual frick?

If a safety car, why is it starting from there? Why the hell does he stop and not even attempt to back up? Drivers should beat the shite out of that guy for almost killing them.

Assuming that was the medical car going to the driver in the barrier we see at the end, but why did he enter the track before the safety car was out?

It’s not happenstance

Just because they didn’t announce it, doesn’t mean it hasn’t been planned for a while.

The Indy 500 is going to outdraw the Canadian GP in America no matter where the broadcast is

I didn't say it was happenstance that Netflix has it, I said by happenstance that I saw it pop up on Netflix.

Just saw this highlight of a Mustang almost going airborne.

It was fun watching the Mustangs run at Barbor. The drivers had to work hard to keep the car on the road while the Indy Cars and Porsches ran around the course like they were on rails

Crazy picture of one of the MotoGP wrecks this morning. While crashing, the riders leg went into the rear of another bike and got pinned. The other bike locked up and went tumbling thru the gravel with the riders leg still wedged in. Rider survived but is dealing with some serious injuries.

They can move the 24hr race if he really wants to race.

Might not be all that easy. It's scheduled around a national holiday. Money always wins out, but they need a frick ton of volunteers for the race, and the holiday ensures that.

Didn't realize the holiday thing. Knew they moved another race for him earlier this year. Thought it would be the same.

On the topic of Indy... One thing I have learned from watching indy car and F1 is that Americans are way better flag wavers than F1 flag wavers. There is no comparison. Why are American official finish line flag wavers so much better? Do we have a flag waving college somewhere?
