On our way to the track for our first race! Watching this weather for Sunday…hopefully, they don’t cancel it.

Just saw Guenther Steiner driving the car next to us.

Haha. Didn’t know about those, but hot dogs are my son’s favorite so will definitely need to keep him on a budget!

I think FP1 starts at the top of the hour (in a few minutes).

Oh yeah, and it's a 90-minute session.

Seems like super clipping is pretty much gone on this track. People are going to have to piss and moan about something else.

This surfacing has been shite from the beginning. They spent so much money importing limestone and building up all the research for how it was laid down.

Is Max giving us real hope or false hope?

Pretty wild he can drop 7 tenths on a NASCAR driver in 1 attempt.

Rough FP1 for Vcarb, they fallen way back of where they were pre spring break.

Hard to believe Aston showed up with zero new parts.

I would like to see him race one of the top nascar guys instead of a rookie

Nascar would have to pay him at least $100m plus not counting team pays him plus endorsements. And even then I just don’t see him wanting to move and race the whole season.

It would be great though. And they’d recoup that money via TV paying them back with the monster ratings. Will never happen but I do enjoy seeing some cross over stuff like in that video. Thats as close as we’ll ever get.

I think he means being P2 in FP1

Incase he was talking about Nascar, he can probably get in some sort of guest type spot. Kimi Raikkonen did a couple Nascar races a couple years ago after he retired from F1, I'm sure they'd be willing accommodate Max the same, it would be fun to see him try a road course.

I was definitely referring to FP1 today not NASCAR. No way he would want the grind of a NASCAR season even though most of us would love to see him do it.

I would love to see him try the Indy 500 also

It'd just be polishing a turd. Better to put the effort towards a much bigger updated package, imo.
