Thought it was a pretty good quali. Nice mixup.

It's funny how the announcers are happy that Kimi is ahead of George.

I think JPM was looking for Kimi to win the sprint, but Palmer pointed out that Kimi has been terrible at starts. Yup, he's been bad, let's hope he and the team have figured it out.

I’m rooting against the Mercedes.

I like Kimi, but I would rather see someone else win

Surprising Merc struggled with setup being they are the only team who didn't bring a ton of upgrades.

Maybe they thought they were far enough ahead of everyone else

It’s bad, they really might not hit the 107% mark.

SLOWEST Formula 2 time in qualifying: 1:41.157

FASTEST Aston Martin time in the sprint quali: 1:41.311

Slower than EVERY F2 car

Mclaren with a surprising single lap pace. Interested to see what the race pace is.

He is racing against the best driver in the world. Learn and listen and keep plugging away

No denying that, but Max is definitely in the best paying one. TBD if it’s the best racing series these days.

Nascar would have to pay him at least $100m plus not counting team pays him plus endorsements. And even then I just don’t see him wanting to move and race the whole season

I'd watch

RIP. Zanardi was my favorite IndyCar driver. The car suited his aggressive driving style; he took to it like a fish to water, resulting in two CART championships in 1997 and 1998. His driving style didn't work with F1 cars. Niki Lauda said Alex was fast but had trouble at the limit, resulting in several crashes, including at Eau Rouge.

After losing his legs he won 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals at the Paralympics. A brutal crash in 2020 while handcycle racing on public streets put him in the hospital for a year and a half, and I don't think he was ever seen again.

The F2 race certainly delivered. Two lead changes on the final lap and 3 fighting for the win at the last corner
