Elliot has been average driver since he intentionally wrecked Hamlin a couple years ago. If Bowman was not worse, Elliot would be the worst driver in Hendrick right now

Is he a fairly new driver? I've been turning the races on since it is on Prime and I noticed he's been fairly strong in the couple of races I've watched.

This is his rookie year in Cup. He's been in Nationwide the last couple of years. Kid is talented as hell.

Ok, thats good to hear that they have some talented young drivers entering the sport. I just thought it was weird that a car with #77 was contending in the Top 5.

Second year. Hocevar ran full-time in Cup last year. He was full-time in the Truck Series prior to that.
