The Frances, especially Brian, want to turn their backs on/eliminate everything traditional about NASCAR.

I already was losing interest but this text and mindset makes me want to not watch at all. They don’t give a shite about the fans who were the foundation for the boom years.

Who gives a shite about me though? I’m just a late 30’s white southerner with disposable income. Seems they want nothing to do with people like me.
The arrogance of NASCAR combined with the media and 90% of the teams getting in line on this, the NexGen car, horsepower, etc. is just wild.
Never thought I’d root for Denny Hamlin, but I’m here for it. frick them all. Burn it down.

The "tiny" sport of 1996 was making money hand over first, packed tracks full of fans and had steady sponsorship of it's 3 major series by large, fortune 500 companies.
God forbid you go back to that kind of success. Current leadership needs to be purged in NASCAR.

I kind of like just having a 30 minute prerace show and then the race.
Years past you’d see something like 2-3 hours of pre race coverage, just way too much.

He fumble fricks most calls when he thinks he's trying to be clever. I liked him as a driver but he comes off as the little dude he is on the broadcast.

Tradition doesn't have anything to do with it.
It just spoiled rich kids and a insular rich family that wants nothing short of complete control. Ruining the sport is just a byproduct of their greed and incompetence.

The in laws had track/pit passes to the race. Had a blast.
Don't follow the sport like I did years ago but still would love to go to a race.
I know it was drama'd to the max like Drive to Survive but I did enjoy this last season of Full Speed on Netflix. Not sure how well liked that is in here though
Definitely made me a Blaney fan.
