Yea, that has to be a troll. Lake Charles isn't NYC, but it's damn sure a more desirable spot than Hammond

exactly...not even try to claim LC is better than even Lafayette though its close for the casinos....but its is way better than any other SLC town to visit, including hammond america

Was in Katy for a long time at the Merrill Center. (capacity around 7K)
We went for several years and the seasons where SFA and/or Sam Houston were good had decent attendance.
This is an item now because McNeese is really good. There was no griping about it back in 2023 when they weren’t.
The tournament coming to LC was totally done as an enticement to keep McNeese in the Southland when it looked like the conference might be completely breaking up.

Just has a mud hole with fake beaches and places of sinful games.
Hammond is centrally located major metropolitan areas and has a very nice downtown area with world class restaurants.
I wouldn't go to Lafayette for a tournament either, that's why they moved the boys basketball championships.

Hammond is trash compared to Lake Charles!!!! The Legacy center is a palace compared to the University center. You can get lost in the University center because the lighting is terrible, concession stands terrible, restrooms terrible. Heath Schroyer has done a super job being the A.D. and getting the SLC tournament. We have the BEST A. D. and MENS basketball coach in the conference and now we are going dancing again.

They are everywhere north of Louisiana and yes they are far better than all the national sub places IMO
