I remember in the off season Flavio was rumored to take over at Alpine. Everybody poo pooed on it saying he had a lifetime ban.

No one has a lifetime ban if they have money.

I don't think they would can Horner mod season, but I could easily see them parting ways after the season is over. I posted a few pages ago about that whole organization from top to bottom is way underperforming.

Didn’t take Flavio long to get the ball rolling. I don’t understand the 6 race contract tho

Haven’t seen that reported anywhere else, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Would get them to the British GP and the 1st summer break.

He may want another driver to know the seat is still open. He will be able to negotiate more freely during summer break.

Maybe the cost cap hasn't had enough time to work, but are their results showing that the poorer teams are catching up with the rich teams? The midfield is still the midfield.
Not ready to scrap the cap because maybe it will help, I do see why the discussion would take place.

Do those viewership numbers get credit for those streaming on the app?

The other part of their statement had me spitting out my drink.
"With the field being so closely matched this year, and with a competitive car, which the team has drastically improved in the past 12 months"
1 scoring gp in 2025.
After screwing up with Piastri they promote the first ever driver from their junior program and then shitcan him.He was basically tossed during the offseason.
Flavio was brought in to create stability and he has done nothing but bring distraction and underperformance for his own gain.
Flavio is chasing and cashing the Argentina money rolling in.
I would expect a car update for the next stretch and Flavio will be claimed a genius.
Feel sorry for Oaks.
Takes over and the team, dramatically improves, and as reward he gets Flavio dumped in his lap.

Is there a new F1 documentary out. My brother was telling me there is a new one out about some kid phenom. But he wasn't sure if it was F1 or Indy. I can't find anything online.

OK guys, don't forget to update your prediction list! Colapinto is already listed as a reserve driver underneath the main list.
The simplest way to do it is to first drag Doohan down to the P20 position (if he isn't there already

Watch the Seat on Netflix; came out Monday.
Follows Kimi as he goes from F4 to the Merc start.
Basically Mercs decision to go with him and all the stuff that needs to take.place before he races

If you believe Oaks message today it was nothing to do with Flavio or the team. He left due to personal reasons and praised Flavio on the way out.
Reads like he means it too and not a canned PR line.
