Apparently Hadjar's discomfort in the cockpit during Q1 was because his harness was crushing his balls.

The Japanese are so funny.

Starting Q3 now but got the result spoiled already.

Max could take any of the midfield cars and drag them up on pole apparently. Crazy.

Good for Bearman in the haas.
lol at Hadjar’s balls, but props to him for making it to Q3 after all that.

Wow, genuine excitement from Max after that lap.
Norris still beating piastri by a tenth for now.

Good for Honda
What’s the weather going to do tomorrow?

If you have F1 tv i suggest you go back and watch max's onboard, an absolute text book lap around Suzuka. I agree with max, its my favorite track to race on, so much fun.

so crazy now that Max is not in the dominant car, I find myself pulling for him more bc now he is just showing how good he really is.

Overall comments so far:

- Max! Holy cow that lap came out of nowhere. Guy is one of the best to ever drive F1.

- Bearman is doing great fir a rookie. Got the Haas into Q3. After his horrific start in Australia he has redeemed himself and then some! Rooting for him to score points.

- Fire fire everywhere. How can they not have fixed it after practice 1? Need those dirt track water trucks to spray it down before sessions. Total shite show

- Doohan wreck. So lucky the car didn’t get airborne with the crowd in the path. Bad wreck. I wonder if any fans got gravel injuries?

- Does DRS open/close automatically or manually during races? I ask because if manually I’ve never heard of any penalties for opening too soon or staying open late. Drivers are known to push limits so how do they police its use? You would think even a back-marker would have bent the rules at least once yet I’ve never heard of any penalties

- It seemed to me some drivers went wide of white line in that one corner by bridge and never had laps deleted. Yet other races its so quick. Whats the deal with that?

Or hire some kids, place around track and give them super soakers to spray on fires that pop up.

3 place grid penalty for Sainz for impeding Hamilton on that last second Q2 runoff of his.

Supposed to rain overnight and in the morning. Possibility during the race.

Onboard computer confirms if you have the gap to use and it knows if your in the DRS zone, button on steering wheel opens and closes it, but will close automatically if you lift or hit the brakes for safety reasons

the crowd friendly spark plates are starting the fires. Self inflicted.

And why keep putting them out? The little island in the esses would burn completely in about 15 mins but they keep putting it out

Love the qualifying overlays they have been doing.

Any chance Max can stay out front with the better straight line speed?
