All coverage is on ESPN or ESPN2, except the Men's Final, which is on ABC.
Men's Draw.

Djokovic has no one that is going to scare him in his quarter. Rublev if he can hold it together for 4 rounds. Big Foe and Shelton if they can can catch some American Fire. Zverev, Ruud and Fritz on the other half of the bottom. Pencil him in for the final.
Sinner and Med in the top quarter. Alcaraz has a pretty easy quarter. Will likely have to contend with Hurcaz' big serve in the QF then what will likely be a grind of a SF.

I'm taking Djokovic to win it. Can't wait.

We are heading to the open/NYC for first time this week. Staying mid town Manhattan close to Grand Central Terminal. For those who have been, is the subway the easiest way to get to Billy Jean King? If so, anyone know approximately how long the ride is?

I went in 2018 and last year. My brother knew the lay of the land better than me. We did exactly what you are doing. We stayed in midtown and got on at Grand Central. It seems like a long ride. I'd budget at least half an hour, even when crowds are down, more like 45 minutes or even more during rush hour. The Willits Point stop puts you right at the Mets Stadium and the Tennis Center.
I don't know if this was an anomaly because it was the semis, but my understanding is it was a nightmare getting in to the tennis center that night. I was already there from the afternoon match. Pride may have some insight, I think he went through it.

I see ESPN couldn't be bothered to start their coverage when the matches actually begin.

US Open is why I pay for ESPN+, can watch all of the matches.

Yeah I have ESPN+ too it just feels like ESPN treats the tennis like an afterthought sometimes.

Long Island Rail Road also goes to the same station if you want a nicer train ride.

I didn't know Nole did this to Shelton last year. LMAO.

Shelton ends Domi Thiem's career and shows some class afterward in recognizing Thiem.

ESPN's refusal to show tennis outside of the main two courts is impressive tbh (yes, I know they're on ESPN+ but still)

What’s going on with Rune?
He got taken to the cleaners by Nakashima.

I wondered about that. I can't really figure him out. He has a nice free flowing all court game to me. I know Courier has said he has no game plan, he just improvises. There was some discussion on Talk Tennis that he just gets no length on his shots.

Tough 5 set loss for Eubanks

We took the LIRR (I think it was discounted with Open tickets? Might be misremembering that...) last year. It was easy and comfortable. The subway and LIRR share the space between the tennis center and Citi Field, so you'll end up in the same place either way.
It was my first time and it was amazing! It was like Jazz Fest, but tennis.
If you have Grounds Passes (without Ashe) get out there early and get to Armstrong quickly. We watched the first match and a set of the second, and it was a LINE to get in when we left.
We did the Open and a Springsteen show at MetLife. Had ourselves a weekend!

FAA down a set early. So much talent with zero mental edge.
