Did anyone catch that bit about having to drive over half a mile to the pits? And have to clean the bikes each time before going? That is insane.

In 2008, we started racing off road (LACC), and we rode some really bad mudfest races, but tonight was nasty.

I don’t think either is out of it just yet. 250 West seems fairly wide open this year.

Finally watched what I knew would be a shitshow. Vohland Sushi are done, it would take complete domination or meltdowns of too many people to make up that much

I actually like that we have back to back mudder/greaser. It’s clearly Jett’s weakness and if he has 2 bad races in a row and it throws a wrench in that “best season ever” nonsense. Will be real interesting if Sexton and Eli go 1-2 again.
To be fair I was at Daytona 08, I understand I was 22 but I had the time of my life at that race. I remember me and my friends sliding in the mud running to the podium after the race. Flirting with some Speed network girls. I love a goddamned mudder although it’s with nostalgic glasses. Legend has it that Reeds bike is still buried in the track at Daytona.

Sushi will never finish the main. He panics and overrides the bike in the mud. Basically fired his clutch and motor in the heat because he panicked. 3rd is just fine in a mud heat!
