He needs to be humbled.

Too bad Harvick retired b/c he damn sure would have done it.

Either Logano and/or Kyle Busch are gonna beat his arse. And I'll be here for it. The former will send him and not think twice.

And Denny Hamlin still hasn't won the championship. That is all.

That’s just idle sports fan trash talk. It doesn’t even affect his legacy that much.

I really don't get the Denny hate. There's certainly more douchy drivers on the circuit than Denny.

He paid his dues for his success.

He's spent nearly his entire career with one team.

He speaks his mind against NASCAR's bullshite.

He's done a shite ton for driver safety.

He's very engaging with fans on social media.

He picks one fan from his social followers every year and sends them on a paid vacation.

He's investing his own money back into the sport.

Y'all give Denny a break.

Agreed. Denny is just old-school, and a lot of the same people who bitch about the new direction NASCAR is taking will bitch about an old SOB like Denny when he’s the last vestige of that old-school attitude.

He (Hamlin) tattled on a fellow driver by posting electronic data and got that driver suspended a race. Whether that driver deserved it or not is not the point, let nascar find and decide. He’s a pussy when he gets back what he dishes out.

I also remember that childish driving stunt he pulled with Chastain for laps. He was acting dangerous and is two faced. Will never win title.

Gibbs is another doushbag driver. He won the Busch cup solely by wrecking a driver, could not win on his own driving. He’s a spoiled punk who Gibbs gives the best cars and crew and everyone sees it. But since the money is good they won’t say anything to their owner. Can’t wait for someone to punch his entitled face

All shite points. Thats some benign stuff. You’re just looking for reasons to justify your hate and you’re digging pretty deep.

What do you mean? shite points? He got a fellow driver suspended and that cost the other driver a chance to make playoffs. I mean it doesn’t get any bigger than that.

I found the Hamlin fan here lol. He has always been a whiney driver. He takes out drivers and whines when they do it back to him. His shite moves go all the way back to taking out Kyle Petty at Pocono. His career is riddled with it. He took out Chase some years ago at Richmond on purpose last lap and Chase leading. He can’t take the heat when it’s him getting it back.

It’s why he has no titles. He is a good but not great driver in best cars his whole career.

One note, I really wanted to see Josh Williams get in. He missed by one spot.

If anyone forget he’s the driver who parked his car on the track last year in a Xfinity series race and walked to the pits.

Not many And I say that as someone who has really come around on Denny in the last few years.

I was listening to Sirius/XM NASCAR Radio’s morning show this morning and some goober called in and argued that instead of moving the Clash to Saturday night, they should have waited 3 days to run it on Wednesday. He acted like the teams had plenty of time to wait because they didn’t have to leave for Daytona until Monday/Tuesday of next week.

Of course, just a couple of segments before this call, William Byron’s crew chief was on the same show and talked about how today is engine install day at Hendrick Motorsports for their Daytona 500 cars. So, yeah, waiting 3 extra days to run an exhibition race in Los Angeles wouldn’t have caused any issues for the teams.

That idiot needs to have his number blocked. Running the Clash a day early at the last minute was the only chance to get the race in. It's a temporary surface that was getting torn down Wednesday. Plus you're asking NASCAR to tell teams they need to spend tens of thousands of dollars on hotel rooms just to maybe get an exhibition race in?

Yeah frick that. That dude needs his fan card revoked. It was race Saturday or cancel it.

People act like NASCAR is like football or basketball where there are all these venues just ready to go at a moments notice, and it doesn't take weeks of prep to get them ready.

Yeah, the hosts of the show (Mike Bagley and Pete Pistone) disagreed with moving it to Wednesday. As they said, there would be no guarantee that it could have been run on Wednesday. The impacts in the LA area from this system look to be severe, and law enforcement/first responders might not be available to staff a race on Wednesday. Just a whole number of reasons that wouldn’t work.

Speaking of patience, when will Kaulig announce their schedule for the 16? We know Allmendinger is running the 500. Likely will run the 16 in the road races SVG doesn't do. SVG has 7 races. Josh Williams has Atlanta with other races expected to be announced later. I imagine they field the 13 for AJ at the road courses SVG is doing in the 16. Any ideas? There was a lot of smoke about Matt Dibenedetto getting rides in this car.

I wouldn't be shocked if they sold this charter next year. Or if they got one of Trackhouse's 4 drivers full time.

I’ve got to be honest. NASCAR is growing on me, and I’m sure I’ll watch a good bit this year, but the Clash was awful. What’s the point?
