Real season starts today, first 2 were plate/pack races luck of the draw mostly
Ross Chastain fastest in single-lap, but Kyle Larson was fastest in 5-, 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-lap averages. And William Byron was second in 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-lap averages.
Actually, all four Hendrick cars were in the top 10 for five-lap average during practice.

Something about Trucks booth personnel. Jamie Little drives me crazy. She talks like no one has ever watched a race in their life. And her tone is horrible. She tries to hype something but it comes across fake.
I like her too. When she does pit reporting I think it’s outstanding. But she just does not work out in the booth setting. One thing thats different - when pit reporting she has to talk louder due to noise and it comes off believable. In the booth it’s softer and too fake sounding.
Just a strange deal where I hate her in booth and live her in pits. Glad she does pits for Cup.
I’ll also be glad when Mikey leaves the booth too.

Add Chastain to the rear. Team says they had to redo the wrap at the hood because it was coming up impacting Chastain’s sight. Changing the wrap at that area is unapproved adjustment. Haley (steering rack) and Preece (backup car) also to rear.
