There was literally a Suarez headline this morning when I checked at 630am

Austin Dillon and Brad Keselowski are currently behind David Ragan in the Cup standings. They’ve run two races and David Ragan has run one.

It seems Atlanta needs to always be a night race.

Asphalt has turned Atlanta into a real barn burner. 3 or 4 wide on that track and they all had pretty much the same advantage. It was nice to see Suarez in the winner's circle for my money and most of all, Denny Hamlin didn't finish. A great day and a greater race at the track that is quickly becoming one of the best of the best.

I listen to DBC weekly. Sounds like Childress will be fielding a 3rd car in up to 7 races this year. I bet you see the v8 champion from last year Kostecki in the road courses. Apparently first race will be at COTA, which makes a lot of sense.

Atlanta had some great races back in the day,
I don’t doubt this. What is the % of compelling races.
I’ve only been watching for the past 20 years and I can hardly remember a good ATL race during that time. But given that there have been 40 of them, I’d say it’s very likely there have been some.
This past Sunday was excellent.

I'm fine w/disagreements, but they better be based in fact and not ignorance like earlier when you said AMS didn't produce compelling races. That's laughable and you know it. I don't suffer fools that well.
You are condescending (like you have some superior opinion), you call people names, tell others to frick off, and state subjective thoughts as fact. Unless it agrees with your opinion.
Don’t pretend you want to discuss.
I will admit my dislike of the cheating bully taints my objectivity

Bristol used to be the absolute race of the year for short tracks (and most tracks too).
Atlanta has become the Bristol of plate races.
But don’t be fooled, it wrecks a lot of cars and allowed that finish. If the race had less wrecks earlier then most likely we see a huge wreck in the last laps, and therefore never see the ending we got. I think because so many were wounded cars there were less “go for its” in the last 10 laps (they still went for it but had more room due to less up to speed cars).
I still hate to see so many wrecks. Daytona and Dega have had mega crashes over the years and know what kind of catch fences and other safety needs they need to address. Atlanta is new to plates so we may not know how this track handles “the big one” until it happens. It’s configured different than the others so the way they wreck will be different too.
I would still love to see an Indy style “push to pass” technology in Nascar. They could make it really high like 1,000 seconds or so and learn what the right number is. It would allow cars to make more passes at all tracks.

Might be behind closed doors but that will 100% happen

Denny Hamlin is an owner. Denny Hamlin has called out more drivers tenfold than HMS has. Where is your outrage for him?

I could keep going but he’s an owner and calls out drivers all the time. But one time that HMS makes a statement after Chastain took out several of his cars over a season he’s the bad guy. I am not a fan of HMS but your comment required a response. Hamlin is the King Queen of Complainers!

Well, that's how you feel.
But I have no qualms telling you that most of your opinions are garbage. If that makes me "condescending", sobeit.

He's a year younger than I am. I definitely thought he was older.
