He’s plenty experienced. I think he knows when to pick his battles. I don’t think you’ll see him stick a bumper to a playoff driver. Now anyone else… fair game.

Side note, but I thought SVG was impressive in the cup race. I think it was said that Chase liked working with him. I thought he was impressive in the first talladega race.

I saw that. They worked great and SVG was pusher but I felt he did a perfect job of it. Did not push in corners, made sure front was square. And as a reward when Chase got pushed enough where he could have gone to high line and abandon SVG, he didn’t. Hats off to him with little experience

Not NASCAR related but the Bathurst 1000 is this weekend. The Daytona 500 of Supercars. Starts Saturday night at 7:30 CDT. Shane van Gisbergen had won 3 of the last 4 before racing NASCAR this year.

If you haven’t seen this track, do yourself a favor and look up a lap in a GT3 car around this place. One of the top 5 toughest race tracks in the world. It’s on the Speed Sport 1 app. I plan to have this and the LSU ole miss game on at the same time.

Bathurst should be a bucket list item for any real racing fan.

He's now older than his dad when he passed.

Absolutely crazy.

That hill after the start must take your breath away.
And the downhill curves on the backside of the mountain.are nasty.

Whats ironic to me is they want fairness. Well, how about Denny driving for one team and owning another team. Isn’t that the real conflict of interest?

And since these 2 teams didn’t sign charter how can they expect to be given this in court? Some will say it proves their point but as it stands they opted out of charters yet want one during litigation which contradicts their stances.

Let them fight for getting a start along with any other non chartered team - thats fair. Thats what they are litigating anyways, to not have a charter.

Does this mean Bubba loses his backmarker ride?

It does seem to be a conflict as Denny's teams are basically JGR sub teams. They've admitted to being in meetings together.

NASCAR seems to have a case as you don't need a charter to race. They're open spots each week at a race to attempt qualify. Part of me agrees with NASCAR as they built and own the sport but if teams can't be profitable, you won't have teams.

Kligerman received the white flag before the yellow but NASCAR is saying he didn’t.
