Those wrecker drivers are obviously Kyle Busch fans and are paying a Briscoe back for last week

Cant say I ever remember a wreck collecting 28 cars. That was nuts. I have to imagine teams will be voicing more concerns about the DVP. The rule is a little heavy handed IMO

Leave it to the teams to decide whether they can fix it or not. If they can’t meet minimum speed in time, then it’s on them.

Nobody went with Busch, he had the right idea though. Can’t wait till the last possible moment.

frick it. I hope a big wreck takes out all but five cars with a hundred laps to go. Then, NASCAR might reconsider.

This series is just a complete shite show. Clown car to boot.

There is nothing racey about plate races. No driver skill is being displayed its 100% car position and luck. If you pick a lime its not skill its pure luck if enough cars line up to push.

There is not one redeeming quality about a plate race. Its 100% designed to have wrecks. The races are parades for 95% of time then to try and move up you have to push a car ahead which is not racing. Then we all hold our breath another driver isn’t killed once it happens.

Their rules are just flat bad. Last week no tow to pit bit this week they towed 3 cars and allowed them to finish. There really are no rules.

With lawsuits pending it might just be the final nail. There was probably around $10 million in damages today.

This is supposed go be a series to determine the best racer but they are not racing only surviving. The chase has ruined Nascar. Fake stages are what old fake cautions were - designed to stack cars up to make higher chances of wrecks.

They don’t care. Did you see how TV did the lead in to the race? It was screeching about wrecks, while showing them.

And I forgot to mention last post - the booth bafoons are just hard go listen to. Burton just shrieks and is hard as hell to listen to. And they get so much wrong. Plus TV has so many commercials plus commercials while racing with pop up ads and then split screens where you can’t see racing as cars too small. Then that idiot left scoring monitor where they fade the drivers below top 10 or 5, and you can’t read them. Just leave them all bright and then we can see position on left. But the whole Nascar TV show is getting so bad I fast forward thru a lot of it now.

Why do we even have a NASCAR thread if all you old men do is bitch and complain. I mean , Jesus Christ.

My wife isn't half this bad on her period. All of you need to go buy tampons.

I turned on the end of the race. Glad I only wasted 20 minutes of my day watching that debacle.

The NASCAR brass has really destroyed the sport. Between a car that sucks, a gimmick points system, and inconsistent officiating it's literally more frustrating than fun to watch.Once they killed Bristol that was it for me.

Can we make this a NASCAR / local short track thread? That and the CARS tour is where the real racing is.

The inconsistent officiating is most comical. One week they don't allow cars to be towed to pit road then the next they do.

Was my post about Nascar? Yes

If fans don’t bitch about the problems in a sport they never get fixed.

Why can’t Nascar eliminate any pushing or bumping at plate races? If they did you eliminate 95% of plate wrecks.

But thats what tells you its manufactured wrecking. They do have options and refuse because they’ve made plate wrecking a massive part of the sport. Plate races are their best TV viewership races. Bit if they had real racing it would be even better.

Because of that its no longer racing and is a disgrace to call it that. You ride around forever, save gas and then tighten up belts for the late stage or and of race wrecks. And just pray you got lucky to miss.

I’ve addressed many ways they can get rid of plates and being back racing, in this thread. So you can frick off with your BS, I added much constructive criticism and suggestions all season long. Much more than you. I don’t just type a one liner, I’ve put some thought in my comments like them or not. All you’ve done all season is bitch about downvoters.

A lot of fans have invested decades watching this sport only to see it in its death throw. Its sad to watch. We don’t want it to die, so offer up all the problems and many solitions.

The challenge is there are too many problems to fix and it may not survive. All the drivers with personalities are or have retired. Truex and Busch are close

Then you have the most popular driver who hates what Nascar has become since his dad started racing - but he can’t say what he wants due to the money and repercussions. Its why he is pretty basic when interviewed.

Chase saw his dad lose opportunities when he spoke out on safety long before Dale Sr died. Bill was on a safety committee the drivers formed and Nascar thought it was just a stunt but not to really do anything. When Bill spoke about it he got shunned. So Chase just clams up to avoid problems.

To add, my daily rush hour drive has way more action than any plate races not counting wrecks. Lots of moves made. But I’ve seen some good wrecks during rush too.

Separate from wrecks a plate race is less racing than any normal drive down an interstate highway.

Ironically, on interstate you occasionally come upon 2 semi’s that are barely different in speed but one tries to pass. They both have governors so it takes 20 miles to clear them. All you can do is cuss which is what Nascar drivers are thinking during plate races.

Nascar will put you on their super secret shite list if you over complain about the sport, so drivers are cautious about how they complain.

Yup, I mean if Nascar doesn’t care to fix plate races why should drivers help an opponent. Denny has admitted he would help his owned team over his Gibbs seat. And Gibbs keeps right on employing him.

There are zero standards in Nascar. Rules are made up on the fly or changed on the fly. Recall Denny early start this year not penalized.

And them making a big deal of Kyle not pushing a Ford lol. I mean, its laughable at its core. Why are we even in a situation where the only fricking way you can win the 6 plate races a year is by having pushers? Thats not racing!!!

Shane is doing a lot of learning this year. Hope he doesn’t impact the playoff racers.
