Blaney ends up 24th. WOW!
Larry Mac thinks Blaney's crew didn't fill.him all the way up on his last stop
If that's true, that's a fireable offense for someone.

He might be out of a job when they get back to Charlotte.
Classy move by Brad there talking to Blaney.

Blaney should’ve had enough based on when he pitted, so they must not have gotten him full on the final pit stop.
Larry Mac said the same thing.

Well that was a crazy ending. That great race for the lead between Blaney and Bell and both of them have problems.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Pockrass could make the 1979 500 ending sound boring.

Sidebar: Blaney is a good looking dude. I can see why the ladies like him

Wanted to come to NASCAR instead of Indy. Roger put him in Indy.
I maintain what I said. Penske put Hornish in NASCAR when he should’ve stayed.

It sucks GOX doesn’t have a proper Post Race show like NBC does. I want more analysis and reaction to what happened to Blaney and for that matter Bell earlier

Blaney was tearing up as that interview ended. Dude is stunned
Posted on 6/2/24 at 5:44 pm to SteelerBravesDawg
Yeah you can’t make that mistake …

I hurt for Blaney. That is a painful way to lose a race. And it wasn't his fault.

Cindric to Blaney taking the white flag:

Both sports are in 2 radically different places
Indycar is still executing its long climb out of the split but the tastes of the American sporting public are swinging back towards open wheel racing whereas Nascar is facing an imminent demographic bubble that is going to burst
Once this next TV deal expires, Nascar could be in a very tenuous position.
Scotty Mac , like Newgarden are staying in Indycar

Well, it helps that NASCAR keeps cutting itself like a tattooed goth kid.

I’ve been watching Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi’s post-race podcast and they’re on the subject of the Larson waiver. They’re saying that there are absolutely people in NASCAR’s competition department that are against giving Larson a waiver. Gluck doesn’t believe NASCAR is trying to drag this out, but that NASCAR hasn’t been decide what to do yet.
Still, I don’t know how you can justify rejecting a waiver for Larson when Elliott got one after a NASCAR imposed suspension last year. Elliott actually got two waivers last year. One for the races he missed after the skiing injury and one for missing a race due to the suspension.
